Staffan Löfving is associate professor of social anthropology and head of subject, Intercultural studies at Karlstad University, Sweden, and visiting associate professor with the SARChI Chair in South African Art and Visual Culture, University of Johannesburg, South Africa. Author of books and journal articles on economic anthropology, labor, displacement and home-making, his current research engages with visual heritage and visual sovereignty in Sweden and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
