Dr Tetteh is a Research Fellow at the Durban University of Technology, and the Principal Investigator of the Green Engineering Research Group (GERG) with over seven (7) years research and academic experience. His research interests revolve around interdisciplinary areas such as chemical engineering, bioengineering and nanotechnology principles in developing water-energy nexus technologies. As a young researcher, has garnered numerous recognitions for his leadership, innovation, and research impact in the water sector. Key among them being the ENI Debut Young Talent Researcher from Africa award 2019 and the South Africa National Research Foundation (NRF) Excellence Award 2021 for Next Generation Researchers. The development of a smart-integrated wastewater treatment pilot plant system (SWTES) with beneficiation of bioenergy production, funded by the Water Research Commission, is among his ongoing major projects.
